Data protection declaration and declaration of consent to the processing of personal data

This data protection declaration serves to inform the users of the website "chemdox.com" and other CHEMDOX top level domains, e.g. "chemdox.de" (hereinafter: website) in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by CHEMDOX GmbH, Salztorgasse 1/2A, 1010 Vienna, FN 182439v (hereinafter briefly: CHEMDOX).

As the controller for the use of your data and website operator, CHEMDOX takes data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. 

Keep in mind that data transmission over the Internet can always be subject to security gaps. Full protection against access by strangers is not possible. 

Access data

To optimize our website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and provision of useful information about our services, the provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. You can contact CHEMDOX via various channels (e.g. email, contact form, user account on the website) and thus to transmit personal data to CHEMDOX. We process the personal data you have provided, such as name, address, user name and password, contact and communication data such as telephone number and email address, as well as data about your interests in our products and services for the purpose of providing you with information and offers on our services. We may process your data to fulfil a contract between you and CHEMDOX or to carry out pre-contractual measures based on your request.

Declaration of consent

You agree that CHEMDOX will send you postal information, product emails, product catalogs and event invitations for the purpose of advertising and information. You also consent to CHEMDOX providing information on products, events and promotions by email/telephone/SMS. 

You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent to CHEMDOX by post or email.

Dealing with comments and posts

If you leave a contribution or comment on this website, your IP address will be saved. This serves as a safeguard: If your text violates the law, it may be necessary to establish your identity. 


You have the option of subscribing to both the entire website and subsequent comments on your contribution. You will receive an email confirming your email address. Apart from this, no other data is collected. The stored data will not be passed on to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your rights as a user (data subject)

As a data subject, you have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing as well as a right to rectification, objection, and restriction of processing, erasure of incorrect or inadmissible processed data as well as transfer of the data concerning you that you have provided to us at any time if the requirements set out in the GDPR are met.

If changes to your personal data arise, we request that you notify us accordingly.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. A withdraw does not affect the legality of the processing based on consent before the withdraw (for example, to process and answer an inquiry you have made).

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the responsible supervisory authority. The data protection authority is responsible for this in Austria.


To the extent that CHEMDOX GmbH provides links and references to give access to third party online services, CHEMDOX GmbH shall not be held responsible for the external contents contained on these sites. Solely the provider of the site to which any of these links refer to shall be liable for the content displayed.

Warranties, Liability

We do not guarantee the relevance, accuracy, completeness, or quality of the information provided. In no event shall CHEMDOX GmbH be liable to any person for any damages relating to the use of this website, unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Legal force of this exclusion of liability

Should individual provisions be or become null and void, the remaining content shall not be affected thereby. In such cases, a valid provision shall apply that most closely approximates the intent of the provision found to be void.
